'How to capture the precious moment of the
sacred Wedding?’ is one of the big questions of many couples. Wedding
photography, videos or even a wedding photo mug become the choices of
many couples, while Artlinks Asia is proudly to present another
artistic choice to capture the thread of passion in this Special Day –
Art of Portrait. Artlinks Asia is going to participate in the 52nd
Wedding Fashion Expo from 22nd - 24th August, 2008 at the Hong Kong
Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hall 5. Two local artists (Ronnie
Wong and Chan Fat Hing) are invited to draw ink & wash portraits
for visited couples at the booth for FREE.
Portrait is the age-old art of depicting the figure. It is
flourishing in Europe and the Americas as it symbolizes a paramount
social status and popular among CEO, large family, bride and groom.
Artlinks Asia has brought the Art of Portrait into Hong Kong through
the “Asia Portrait” programme two years ago and received great response
from the press and the public. In order to bring the Art of Portrait to
bride and groom who are looking for medium to capture their valuable
memory on the Special Day, Artlinks Asia is going to participate in the
52nd Wedding Fashion Expo with new ideas and programmes.
Portrait is the hardest to master in the realm of art. How to
capture the emotion and the character of the subject? How to depict
both the facial characteristics and the inner verve of the subject?
What would be the different visual effects brought by Oil Painting, Ink
& Wash Painting and Germ Stone Art? J Links Asia is going to
provide the answers in the Wedding Fashion Expo.

Gem Stone Art Service
Gem Stone Art, which is mosaic paintings that formed by thousands of
tiny previous gem stones, has long been established in Burma. The order
procedure starts by a blueprint designed by Artlinks Asia according to
the photo provided by the customers. Estimation of the types and colors
of gem stones used will be done before the discussion with the
Manufacturing Company in Burma. If everything goes smooth, a beautiful
Gem Stone Painting will be arrived in Hong Kong within three months.
The distinguishing feature of Gem Stone Art is the variety of texture
created by different size, types, and colors of gem stone. For example
stones in different colors are used to create the different effect
while foam-like stone will be used to create the meticulous texture of
human’s face.
